Learn the right way from the start and we guarantee your progression will take a much steeper learning curve, be safer and more fun!
If you bodyboard already and want to take it to the next level, we can help you master specific moves or polish up the whole of your act!
We coach complete novices, top level competitors and everyone in between. For a great way to enjoy the surf, take part in an extreme sport that’s much safer than surfing and initially easier to learn.
Why choose bodyboarding over surfing though?
- The boards are shorter and lighter, so it isn't as tiring.
- The boards don't have fins in the bottom so they are safer.
- It can be less physical as you don't have to stand up.
- For thrill seekers you will have the option to go out deeper and catch bigger waves quicker.
- As you are closer to the wave when you are riding many find it more exhilarating.
- After a couple of lessons you can be proficient to paddle out and catch waves,
then successfully ride them to the shore every time.
- A great entry into the sport for first timers
- We run daily lessons all year round
- We also offer bodyboard coaching in Bali, Lanzarote and Morocco click here for more info.
Here’s some info about one of last years coaching courses:
Bodyboarding Weekend goes off!
Rob teamed up with Sola to hold the first ever Bodyboard Coaching Weekend at his new premises over looking Fistral beach in Newquay. The crew scored perfect, sunny three-to-four foot conditions, focussing on everything from equipment selection to el rollo’s. Through the use of video coaching, four coaching sessions and talks from guest speakers including Aussie pro Aiden Salmon and Sports psychologist Nick Wilmser the crew ironed out all their bodyboard related problems.
Many of the crew landed spins and rolls for the first time, whilst others improved paddling, wave selection and drop knee riding.
Check out a testimonial of the weekend from participant Rich Hall...
