Description: Briefly the weekend is aimed at bodyboarders aged between 8 and 80 who are keen to take part in a fun weekend that will focus on improving their riding. Its a great chance to improve all aspects of your bodyboarding skills from checking the surf, to polishing your cutbacks, choosing a good trim line and nailing some lip moves. Its a great opportunity to meet like minded bodyboarders, to learn from each other, to swap gossip about spots and have a fun weekend in Newquay....

Surfgirl - The Next Step Weekend

September 19 - 20

Description: Surfgirl Magazine has teamed up with the ESF Surf school to offer girls the chance to take 'The Next Step' with their surfing on September 19/20. Whether you're a beginner surfer new to the sport, who can stand on a board but is stuck in the whitewater or an advanced surfer who is looking to sharpen their surfing, this course aims to take your surfing up a notch in a fun, laid back environment.

Description: The Progression Coaching Clinic weekend is tailored and personalised to suit your individual needs. Whether you're a beginner surfer new to the sport, who can stand on a board but is 'stuck in the whitewater' or an advanced surfer who is looking to sharpen their surfing, tighten their turns and put their surfing on a rail, this course aims to take your surfing up a notch in a fun, laid-back environment.

May 3 - 5 English National Surfing Championships held at Watergate Bay, Newquay.

May 24 - 25 Grommet Coaching Weekend. Open to groms from 8 - 18. Group lessons for novices through to aspiring young pro's. Including guest coaches, photography and classroom work. Goodie bag for all participants.

May 31 - 1 Bodyboard Coaching Weekend. Come and try it for the first time or improve your current skills, lesson for complete novices to the competing shredder. Goodie bag for all participants.

June 7 - 8 Silver Surfers Coaching Day (bodyboarding and surfing) for over 50's. Come and give it a try!

June 28 - 29 SurfGirl Surf Breaks

June 28 - 29 Rip Curl Girls Tour. Open to girls and ladies aged 8 - 80. The Rip Curl tour is coming to Newquay and hooking up with The ESF Surf School to offer girls and ladies cut price lessons £25 for 2 hours including all equipment and a goodie bag including a Rip Curl T-shirt. There will also be free Capoeira lessons and a party night.

July 5 - 6 Bodyboard Coaching Weekend. Come and try it for the first time or improve your current skills, lesson for complete novices to the competing shredder. Get in the water now that it's warmed up a little! Goodie bag for all participants.

August 4 - 10 Rip Curl Girls Tour. Open to girls and ladies aged 8 - 80. The ESF Surf School Have joined forces with Rip Curl to offer cut price Surf lessons £25! everyday. Each girl also receives a well stuffed goodie bag containing a Rip Curl T-shirt, a magazine and free party entry to the Rip Curl Boardmasters Girls Tour Party (Date to be confirmed but during Aug 4-10.)

October 25 - 26 SurfGirl Surf Breaks

November 28 - December 6 Euro Juniors Championships Morocco. This years European Junior Championships are set to be held in Agadir, Morocco from November 28 to December 6. The teams will be selected for the event from the results of the national championships and the current form of the surfers bodyboarders in the running. Watch this space for further updates. The ESF Surf School will be holding a series of fund raising events running up to the Championships to help pay for the teams travel, accomodation, entry fee etc.

Regular lessons take place every day with the ESF, please check the website as further event dates will be added through out the year.
